In my previous post https://lnkd.in/eTmt9AT talked about the recent book from John MacCormic “What can be computed”. This book is inspired by the classic book Godel Escher Bach (GEB) by Douglas Hofstader (Yes Leonard Hofstader from Big Bang Theory got the name from him). Hofstader has published two more interesting books “I am a strange loop” http://a.co/59qPvMw and  “Surfaces and Essences: Analogy as the Fuel and Fire of Thinking”  http://a.co/0JL8DeF The books might not really have AI in their title. They don’t talk about deep learning, but they talk about ideas that can help us understand AI from the perspective of computer science. Take a look at his ideas  https://lnkd.in/emPjeG3 Try to read a Hofstader at some point in your life!!
